How your visit will proceed:
We welcome you to our farm and will briefly explain what you need to be aware of and how best to behave. Afterwards, we'll head out to see our miniature Galloways. From November to May, our animals are kept in the barn; the rest of the time they are out in the pasture.
While our animals sniff you, we'll give you some important tips on how to interact with our cattle. You'll also have time to ask anything you've ever wanted to know about cattle. Finally, we'll go into the pasture/barn area, and you can have direct contact with our animals. Of course, our miniature Galloways are free to decide how close they want you to get. With patience and a gentle approach, you'll certainly be able to pet and brush them.
But please don't be sad if they don't want to lie down next to you; perhaps they would rather eat or walk around.
Afterwards, we’ll treat you to a glass of water or a soft drink and ask you to sign our guest book.
Your visit with us will last about 1½ hours.
Number of persons
Generally, the number of people is limited to 6 to ensure the animals aren't overwhelmed. If you'd like to come with more people, please contact us – we'll definitely find a solution!
Children
Children aged 6 and older are usually able to behave quietly. This is important when around animals. Of course, you can also bring younger children, but please let us know in advance so we can accommodate your needs and tailor your visit accordingly!
School classes/kindergarten groups
You are welcome to visit us as a kindergarten or school group. The price per child is €5-8 (depending on group size). Please contact us so we can discuss the details!
